What More Would You Like To Learn

I learned many basic things in this class, and it is very useful for me.
Also, if I learn more things, I would like to learn more complex things like editing of music and movie because if I edit it, I can use computer more useful for my life.
Moreover, I would like to learn how to cope with complex computer troubles when I use computer. When I use computer, sometimes it freeze, and if I want to remove USB, I can’t do that. In this case, I try to do keyboard shortcuts like Alt + F4, and Ctrl + Alt + Delete, but I cannot fix my computer, so I must push power supply (Mr. Poza said, “Five Seconds Magic”). Therefore, I want to learn it.

Computer Terms: Viral Video

Viral Video is a video clip which was gotten from E-mail, blog, and media sharing websites. They include not only videos for many people like television programs but also videos which were taken by friends and family.
Recently, in America, Bravo TV is a TV program that gathered popular short film. This has parody of movies and clips which has slips of the tongue of President George Bush, and it popular among many people, and other TV stations plan the same program.
In Japan, YouTube is a famous site which has viral video. It has many video clips, so there is no end to invade copyright. Therefore, it is deleting such videos.
However, web site like YouTube will spread, and even if they delete many video clips which invade copyright, viral videos will increase. It is evolution of civilization, but I think Internet scene will grow rapidly worse.

What Will Computers Be Like in the Future?

Now computers are developed very fast. Also, in the future they would be more useful.

For example, I think computers will be able to talk with people; for example, computer will be able to write writing without typing. If so, blind people and elder people can use computers. Also, they will do housework instead of mothers.

Moreover, I think textbooks will disappear, so students bring their personal computer in the school, and they will study as watching web site like our computer class. If so, waste of woods and paper will disappear. On the other hand, people who sleep in the class will increase.
Development of computers is very good, I think. However, if it continues as it is, I think culture and tradition will disappear, and all countries become the same. Is it good? When I watch movies like X-Men and i, Robot , I felt future was horrible. Therefore, I think we need to think it seriously.

First, on Thursday, Microsoft Company made asking price of next OS “Windows Vista” publish. Below are prices which made it publish.

When I heard this news, I thought it was not as expansive as I thought.

Second, I heard the news whether YouTube is justice or not. Now there are many people who use YouTube. However, if I use an image of YouTube which put link, many people access the link, it may be illegal. I thought I needed attention when I put an image.

Third, on Friday, Fujitsu Corporation announced that notebook computers which have battery of Sony broke out, and a user burned. It happened when the user turned off power supply of the computer, and he tried to charge. Now, the company collects free. My computer is Fujitsu, so I heard this news, I thought it was very scary because it happened when it turned off, so if there is no person in the house, it may happen. It is the cause of fire, so I thought the company should collect speedily.

What Is "Net Neutrality"?

"Net neutrality" is whether there is a right which company that manages correspondence infrastructure offers QoS (quality of service) against date service which forward on the Internet. At present, the bill which is concerned Net Neutrality discussing at the assembly. There is a big problem now. By the boom in Internet in 1990s, we could use infrastructure of optical fiber, which can use at low price. However, now, this extra band decreases by popularization of broadband. Today, I introduce 3 useful web sites.
First, Google is one of useful web site because there is much information when I search everything. Moreover, when I attach images to my blog, it is very useful. I didn’t use it until I enter academic, but now I use it very well.
Second, Wikipedia is also useful. If I have words which I didn’t know, but my electric dictionary doesn’t have information, I use Wikipedia. It is not formal encyclopedia, but it has up-to-date information, so it is useful.
Also, CS100-Introduction to Computers is very useful web site because I cannot use computer very well, and I cannot remember how to use computer. Therefore, when I forgot information, I go there, and I check it. That is, it need for me very well. These are my recommendable sites.

Computer Gifts I Would Buy for Family

If I buy a computer gift for my mother, I would buy iPod because my mother wants it, and she likes to listen to music. But she cannot use computer very well (like me), so if I present it, she cannot use it very well.
If I buy a computer gift for my father, I would buy digital camera because he usually show his car items at auction. However, digital camera which he bought the auction is not so good, so I want to buy it.
Also, if I buy a computer gift for my brother, I would buy new computer because his computer (VAIO) is useless. First, he cannot use recorder in his computer. Second, it has too mach information, so it cannot shut down, and it usually stop. Moreover, I would buy USB stick memory because he always it for his work, so it has much information, but it is breaking; that is, it hasn’t a cap, and can get off its cover.
However, I don’t have much information about computer gifts, so if I would buy them for my family, I would had them selected by them.

What is Social Engineering？

Social Engineering is to get password, and to cracking. It is also called social hacking and social cracking. It is used these ways. First, they personate system manager, and they pump password. Second, they stand behind a person who operates the machine, and stare the picture and key board when the person inputs password. Third, they steal a paper which is written password.
For example, at present, they steal not only password but also a number of credit cards, and it is used as a method of fraud which family is paid money by personating. In addition, they pump personal identification number of credit cards, and they use burglary cards and forged credit cards, pick up money. This way is, first, they contact using phone. Second, they personate policemen, and they say they want to know your code number for doing confirmation of cards which the captor has.
Crimes like this are increasing every year, and their target is old people. Therefore, we must brace for social engineering, if we experience it, we need to say to the police. Also, above all, we must decrease such as crimes!!

What I Want To Learn About Computers

I can't use computers well, so of course I want to learn everything about computers. However, especially, I want to learn how to use iTunes because I think it is very useful. If I learn how to use it, I can put music into my computer, and I can put them into CD-R.
By the way, I learned how to use Word, Power Point, and Excel when I was a high school student. That is, I used them. However, I forgot how
to use them. Therefore, I think I must learn them for my future.
In addition, I want to learn how to use Skype because I couldn’t use it when I wanted to use it. It is also useful, and above all, I learned it can speak all over the world. Therefore, I think I want to learn it until I go to America, and I want to use it.
However, first of all, I think I need to learn how to use computer basically.

My History with Computers

When I was a junior high school student, I used computer for e-mail for the first time.
I have no sense of machine, so I had computer class in the school, but I couldn’t only used e-mail and Internet. In addition, in my house it was a common computer, so I didn’t use it. Therefore, I said to my parents, “I want my computer. I need it for my study.”
Then, when I entered this college, I got my computer. I thought I try to manage it. However, now I only use it for my essays and Internet. I don’t use it for even e-mail because I can send it by cellular phone. That is, I couldn’t it other purposes yet.
Therefore, in this computer class I want to use it for other purposes, and I think I want to use my computer for many purposes.
